Club Information

The Kiwanis Club of Mt. Empire/Campo is within Division 31 of the California, Nevada, Hawaii (Cal-Nev-Ha) District of Kiwanis International.  It was founded in 1975, and is well-known throughout the back country of East San Diego County.  The Club's priority is to assist the youth in our communities in three primary ways: 1) youth scholarships,  2) youth programs, and 3) by performing community service.

To support its COMMUNITY GIVING PROGRAMS, the club holds two major fundraisers:  the annual "Barn Dance" - held the 2nd week of June at Star Ranch and a "Wine Tasting".  These funds are then distributed throughout the year to local youth, and other community programs.  Multiple graduating seniors every year.

Other direct club community services include Rady's Children's Hospital, Miracle Mile of Quarters, senior Holiday dinners.

If you are interested becoming a member in a truly dynamic organization, that will provide you with great personal satisfaction, in meaningful service to our communities, but which will allow you to serve at your own pace, in an atmosphere of fun and good fellowship, then this is the club for you!!!

There are no secret handshakes or special rituals, just a group of people interested in the same thing - helping others and improving the lives of children!

The members of the Kiwanis Club of Mt. Empire/Campo feel good, by doing good, and have fun doing it!
